CM Mohan Yadav presented the Chief Minister's prize money to the exceptional cadets.

CM Mohan Yadav stated that the NCC  serves as a foundation for instilling self-confidence, discipline, and enthusiasm among the youth.

CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that the National Cadet Corps (NCC) instills discipline and enthusiasm in students. He noted that donning the NCC uniform fosters a sense of patriotism, capability, cooperation, and self-confidence. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is gaining global recognition and strength, which in turn increases the responsibility of the youth. Celebrating festivals alongside the armed forces assures them of the government’s and society’s support. It is a source of pride for NCC cadets to participate in Republic Day celebrations alongside such dignitaries.

CM Mohan Yadav addressed the NCC cadets who had participated in the 2025 Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi and honored them at the Chief Minister’s residence. He presented awards to outstanding cadets in various categories, wishing them a successful future. School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, ADG Major General Shri Vikrant M. Dhumne from the NCC Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Directorate, and other officials were present at the event.

CM Mohan Yadav mentioned that 2,361 cadets from 28 states and 8 Union Territories gathered in New Delhi for the Republic Day celebrations. He praised the NCC as a school of unity and discipline, shaping cadets for life. He highlighted India’s rich history of sacrifices for the country, noting that India, being the youngest nation, has become a global intellectual power. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Indian youth are poised to elevate the nation to new heights. Swami Vivekananda had envisioned that the 21st century would belong to India, and today’s youth will fulfill this vision through dedication and capability.

CM Mohan Yadav honored Senior Under Officer Kaushiki Shukla and Aryan Sen, both of whom secured first place in the All India Best Cadet Competition, by awarding them one lakh rupees each. Other awardees included Srishti Mishra and Nadia Panhotra (second place in the competition, awarded 75 thousand rupees each), Vasundhara Dubey (first place in the equestrian competition, awarded one lakh rupees), Ayush Gautam (finalist in the Idea and Innovation Competition, awarded 50 thousand rupees), and Arhamna Tanveer and Nandini Singh (first place in shooting, awarded 50 thousand rupees each). Arshika Mishra, selected for the national-level shooting competition, received 50 thousand rupees. Every cadet from the Special Unity Camp was given 2,000 rupees as the Chief Minister’s prize.
