CM Mohan Yadav Extends Greetings on Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas’ Birth Anniversary.
CM Mohan Yadav extended warm greetings on the birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to uplifting underprivileged communities. He emphasized the importance of ensuring opportunities for progress, economic stability, and employment for all. The government, he stated, is dedicated to eradicating poverty, promoting youth employment, upholding women’s dignity, and respecting farmers—fostering equality across society. Various schemes and programs are being implemented to achieve these objectives.
CM Mohan Yadav praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s inspiring journey, highlighting how, despite challenges, he rose to the position of Prime Minister through determination and hard work. He noted that the Prime Minister’s story serves as a testament that even children from humble backgrounds can achieve great heights. He also credited Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar for ensuring constitutional rights to education, healthcare, employment, and equality, and reaffirmed the state government’s ongoing efforts to make these rights accessible to all.
Speaking at an event at Hindi Bhavan, organized by Navayuvak Ahirwar Samaj Sudhar Sangh Bhopal and Chamar Vikas Sangh Bhopal, CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting a ceremonial lamp and worshipping a girl child. He paid floral tribute to Sant Ravidas’ portrait and released a souvenir and the Ravidas Chalisa. The Chief Minister was welcomed with a garland and presented with a memento. Notable attendees included Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malti Rai, Bhopal South-West MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani, Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, and Shri Ravindra Yati.
CM Mohan Yadav reiterated Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to inclusive development under the motto “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” He emphasized that Madhya Pradesh is advancing rapidly due to the hard work of its people. He also spoke about the construction of a grand memorial dedicated to Sant Ravidas in Sagar and highlighted the significance of the Sant Ravidas Gurudwara in Ujjain. Assuring support for social activities in Bhopal,CM Mohan Yadav announced that the state government is preparing to construct 10 lakh houses for underprivileged families in urban areas. A new survey will be conducted in villages to identify eligible families and ensure they receive permanent housing in line with Prime Minister Modi’s vision.
Reflecting on Sant Ravidas’ teachings, CM Mohan Yadav highlighted the saint’s message—”Man Changa to Kathauti Mein Ganga”—which signifies that purity and divinity reside within individuals. He underscored Sant Ravidas’ belief that God’s court recognizes no social hierarchy, advocating dignity in labor and devotion over divisions of caste or religion. Sant Ravidas’ emphasis on hard work, trust, love, and societal welfare earned him the revered title of Sant Shiromani. MLA Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani also addressed the gathering, echoing these sentiments.
