While addressing the All India Pro-Kabaddi Tournament organized by Sahayog Krida Mandal in Gotegaon, CM Mohan Yadav stated that the country’s athletes have earned global recognition through their strength, courage, skill, and intelligence. He praised the players for bringing pride to the nation through their achievements in various national and international sports. Kabaddi and wrestling players, in particular, have earned medals in every competition. CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that the future belongs to the youth, and highlighted the efforts made under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership to promote athletes and sports. He also mentioned the inclusion of sports in the new education policy and the recruitment of Jan Shikshaks to support these initiatives.

CM Mohan Yadav praised the efforts of the Maninagendra Singh Foundation and Sahayog Krida Mandal for promoting traditional sports and organizing a prestigious Kabaddi competition, which has been held continuously for the past 41 years. He acknowledged that the committee’s work has produced many national and state-level players, highlighting that every Kabaddi player has emerged from Gotegaon. CM Mohan Yadav also commended the committee for its contributions to both sports and social service. He announced a grant of Rs. 11 lakh for the committee and shared plans to organize a Kabaddi League in the future to further support traditional sports. Member of Parliament Choudhary Darshan Singh, MLAs Shri Vishwanath Singh Patel and Shri Mahendra Nagesh, founder member of Sahayog Krida Mandal Shri Mulam Singh Patel, and other distinguished public representatives were present at the event.

Kabaddi players have brought pride to the country

CM Mohan Yadav lauded Kabaddi for embodying Indian philosophy, connecting it to Pranayam and physical exercise. He compared the game’s strategy to the Chakravyuh of the Mahabharata, emphasizing the coordination of courage and energy. CM Mohan Yadav pointed out that Kabaddi is gaining global recognition, with players bringing pride to India, and reaffirmed the state’s dedication to promoting traditional sports. He also noted the unique joy of playing on Indian soil, with Kabaddi and similar sports being warmly embraced in other countries.

Government committed to the welfare of women, the poor, youth, and farmers

CM Mohan Yadav emphasized the government’s commitment to the welfare of women, the poor, youth, and farmers through various initiatives. He highlighted that under Prime Minister Shri Modi’s leadership, efforts are underway to provide permanent homes to every poor family by 2028 and to fill over one lakh government jobs for youth, with plans to fill 2.70 lakh posts in the next five years. CM Mohan Yadav also assured that all pending Public Service Commission exams will be conducted soon. He mentioned that a state-wide youth welfare campaign is ongoing, alongside initiatives in school education, higher education, and employment.

Religious Tourism Sites to Be Developed at Locations Associated with Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna in Madhya Pradesh

CM Mohan Yadav praised Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar for her exemplary contributions to good governance, emphasizing the state’s commitment to upholding her ideals and establishing high standards of governance. He also mentioned that the government would work to improve basic facilities and enhance healthcare across all regions.

CM Mohan Yadav highlighted the nationwide celebrations marking the completion of one year of the Shri Ram temple construction in Ayodhya, with cultural rituals being held across the country. He further shared that the state plans to develop locations connected to Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna as religious tourism centers.

Liquor will be Banned in 17 Religious Locations

CM Mohan Yadav announced a ban on liquor in 17 religious sites across the state as part of efforts to address social issues like drug addiction. He also outlined plans to improve facilities at bathing ghats and provide shelters for Narmada Parikrama pilgrims.CM Mohan Yadav emphasized the importance of making the Narmada region greener as part of environmental protection initiatives.

Panchayat and Rural Development and Labour Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel highlighted the promotion of traditional sports, citing the 41-year-long Kabaddi competition in Gotegaon as an example. He noted that the state government is also working on supporting sports and welfare schemes. CM Mohan Yadav paid tribute to Late Maninagendra Singh by garlanding his photograph and presented a shield to national gold medalist Anjali Verma for her outstanding achievement in the high jump.

Beneficiaries of Various Schemes Receive Benefits

CM Mohan Yadav presented benefits to several individuals during the event, including Anbi Patel, Tejaswani Kahar, and Shivanya Thakur under the Ladli Laxmi Yojana; Smt. Aastha Lodhi, Shri Pankaj Dubey, and Shri Jagdish Lodhi under the Super 5000 scheme for MP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare; and Shri Rohit Agarwal under the Fodder Development Scheme of the Animal Husbandry Department.

Interaction with Kabaddi Players

After the stage program, CM Mohan Yadav interacted with the participating Kabaddi players, offering words of encouragement and wishing them a successful future.

Inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of 39 Construction Projects Worth Rs. 135.18 Crore

CM Mohan Yadav dedicated and performed the Bhoomi Pujan for 39 construction projects in Gotegaon, valued at Rs. 135 crore 18 lakh. This includes the dedication of 19 construction projects worth Rs. 22 crore 85 lakh and the Bhoomi Pujan for 20 construction projects worth Rs. 112 crore 33 lakh.
