CM Mohan Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh is one of the fastest-growing states in the country.

CM Mohan Yadav extended a warm welcome to Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) from Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing the state’s rapid progress and emerging investment opportunities across various sectors. He highlighted that a Regional Industry Conclave is being organized to explore development potential in different regions, while the ongoing 8th edition of the GIS Global Investors Summit in Bhopal serves as a major platform for investors.

CM Mohan Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, NRIs are being introduced to new investment avenues. To boost sectors such as IT, pharma, and biotech, the state has implemented 18 new policies. He announced that sector-specific summits would begin with agriculture, ensuring a simplified and investor-friendly environment. Affirming the state’s openness to investments, he invited NRIs to actively participate in Madhya Pradesh’s growth.

Expressing his emotional bond with NRIs, CM Mohan Yadav noted that the achievements of Madhya Pradesh-origin individuals abroad, such as becoming the Mayor of London or a Chief Minister in Zimbabwe, are celebrated within the state as well. He welcomed NRIs, members of “Friends of MP,” and “India Connect” at the Pravasi Madhya Pradesh Summit, held as part of the Global Investors Summit.

NRIs’ Role in Employment Generation

CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that NRIs play a vital role in generating employment in Madhya Pradesh and urged them to invest in the state’s development. He assured full government support for investors and reaffirmed the state’s commitment to becoming a global investment destination.

The Significance of Mahakal’s Bhasma Aarti

CM Mohan Yadav made special mention of the sacred “Bhasma Aarti” of Baba Mahakal, explaining its spiritual significance as a reminder of life’s journey from birth to death and the importance of fulfilling responsibilities. He described Ujjain as both a spiritual and temporal city. Drawing a parallel between the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela as a spiritual gathering and the Global Investors Summit as an economic congregation, he introduced a Virtual Reality (VR) headset service for experiencing the rare Bhasma Aarti darshan at Veethi Sankul.

Quoting Lord Krishna’s teachings from the Bhagavad Gita, he stressed the importance of time management and social upliftment, urging successful NRIs to invest in Madhya Pradesh to strengthen its economy and improve countless lives. He also launched a tourism promotion framework in collaboration with “Friends of MP (UK Chapter)” to boost the state’s global tourism appeal.

Government’s Commitment to Investor Support

Principal Secretary of the NRI Department, Shri Sandeep Yadav, assured that while key policy decisions are made at the central level, the Madhya Pradesh government will extend full support in addressing local concerns. Shri Suvidh Shah, Executive Director of MPIDC, elaborated on foreign trade provisions and business collaboration opportunities in the state.

Industry Leaders Applaud Madhya Pradesh’s Growth

Jitendra Vaidya, President of Friends of MP (UAE Chapter), praised CM Mohan Yadavs visionary leadership, attributing the state’s rapid development to his efforts.

Sanjay Nagarkar, a leading investor from Hong Kong and Global President of India Connect, lauded Madhya Pradesh’s growing industrial sector and ease of doing business. He announced that India Connect Group has committed to an investment of ₹65,000 crore, with an MoU worth ₹6,500 crore already signed. The group is also planning an MoU with Barkatullah University for biochemistry research and will contribute to skill development initiatives.

The summit witnessed participation from notable figures, including Buckinghamshire (London) Mayor Sushri Prerna Bhardwaj, Shri Rohit Dixit (President, Friends of MP Boston Chapter), Mr. Jagannath Sai (High Commissioner of Fiji), Shri Raj Modi (Zimbabwe), and several other NRIs with ties to Madhya Pradesh.
