CM Mohan Yadav extended a warm welcome to guests from various countries who gathered in the sacred city of Avantika for the Oath Ceremony Festival on the auspicious occasion of Vikram Samvat Chaitra Pratipada New Year. He remarked that Lord Mahavir Swami practiced penance in Ujjain, and when penance is undertaken with righteousness, every oath leads to success. Emphasizing the fleeting nature of human life, he urged individuals to dedicate their time to selfless service and the well-being of all living beings, as true greatness is achieved through benevolent deeds.
On Sunday, CM Mohan Yadav participated in the Jain community’s Oath Ceremony Festival in Ujjain. He highlighted his government’s commitment to blending cultural values with developmental initiatives and announced that a liquor ban would be enforced in Ujjain and other religious cities of the state starting April 1.
The event commenced with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp, and the organizers honored CM Mohan Yadav for bringing recognition to Ujjain at both the state and national levels. The program was attended by Member of Parliament Anil Firojiya, MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda, Devendra Kashal, Ashwin Koshliwal, Sachin Kasliwal, and other Jain community representatives.
