CM Mohan Yadav praised the initiative taken in Jabalpur for the systematic maintenance of land records, calling it a commendable step. He noted that the state government has introduced several innovations across sectors, particularly in revenue administration. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, citizens in Madhya Pradesh are now availing services through platforms like Cyber Tehsil, Sampada-1, and Sampada-2. He added that the long-standing practice of using red bags—dating back to the British era—is now being phased out. With these advancements, there is no longer a need for people to visit multiple offices to obtain copies of revenue records.
CM Mohan Yadav, while addressing the inauguration of the renovated Revenue Archives at the Collectorate in Jabalpur on Thursday, said that this initiative marks a significant advancement in the revenue sector and sets an example of good governance. He commended Collector Shri Deepak Saxena for the innovative efforts and acknowledged that the new system enables citizens to access both hard and soft copies of important documents with ease. Dr. Yadav congratulated the Jabalpur District Administration for this forward-thinking initiative.Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh and MP Shri V.D. Sharma also addressed the gathering. The event was attended by MLA and former minister Shri Ajay Vishnoi, MLAs Shri Sushil Tiwari and Shri Ashok Rohani, along with several other public representatives.
District level development committees will be formed in the state
CM Mohan Yadav said that district-level committees will be constituted across the state, comprising not only elected public representatives but also professionals such as doctors, lawyers, and engineers. He stated that this inclusive model will significantly broaden the scope of development. The Chief Minister will serve as the President of these committees, while the respective District In-charge Minister will act as the Vice President. This model, to be implemented statewide, aims to set new benchmarks in participatory and inclusive development.
Introduction of new courses in universities
CM Mohan Yadav emphasized the need to introduce new and relevant courses in universities to meet evolving academic and industry demands. He suggested that even medical universities can offer multidisciplinary programs. Drawing attention to the growing popularity of B.Sc. Agriculture among students, he said similar efforts should be made to attract youth by introducing other employment-oriented and skill-based courses that align with future career prospects.
Agro-industry conference in Mandsaur on May 3
CM Mohan Yadav announced that sector-wise events will be organized across all regions of the state, including Malwa. Following the successful Industry Conclaves held in each division, the upcoming programs will now focus on specific sectors and themes. He informed that a Krishi Udyog Sammelan is scheduled to take place in Mandsaur on May 3, with the next event planned for the Mahakaushal region. The Chief Minister added that efforts to establish processing units will be accelerated throughout the state to boost industrial and agricultural development.
