CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that Sanatan Dharma is the only religion that deeply respects and embraces nature. Speaking at a ceremony at Tilbhadeshwar Mahadev Temple in Tarana, held to mark the appointment of Shri Mohan Bharti Maharaj as the Mahant of Shri Dashnam Juna Akhara, he underscored the significance of understanding the lives and wisdom of saints to truly comprehend the essence of Sanatan Dharma.
CM Mohan Yadav announced plans to develop Tilbhadeshwar Temple as a religious heritage site and highlighted the government’s efforts to establish Ujjain as a major religious and cultural hub. He also spoke about initiatives for Gaushalas (cow shelters), mentioning that the government provides a daily grant of ₹40 per cow.
CM Mohan Yadav further acknowledged the pivotal role of saints in preserving and guiding Sanatan Dharma. Inviting them to the 2028 Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Ujjain, he assured them that permanent facilities would be built for their convenience, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay.
The event also featured a mesmerizing dance drama on Narmada-Kshipra Stuti, choreographed by renowned Kathak dancer Ms. Palak Patwardhan and performed by young girls.
During the ceremony, Akhara’s chief patron, Mahant Shri Hari Giri Maharaj, along with other saints, honored CM Mohan Yadav with a silver cow memento. The gathering was attended by MP Shri Anil Firojiya, Ujjain’s in-charge minister Shri Gautam Tetwal, local councillor Shri Mahesh Joshi, as well as several saints and dignitaries.
