CM Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the Kshipra Teerth Parikrama organized under the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign on June 4 at 8 AM from Ramghat in Ujjain. As part of this event, on June 5, Ganga Dussehra, the Chief Minister will offer a 351-feet long grand chunri to Mother Kshipra. Dedicated to the sentiments of devotion, culture, and water conservation, this event will be held on the eve of the Ganga Dussehra festival.
In this two-day Teerth Parikrama organized by the Kshipra Lok Sanskriti Samiti, thousands of devotees including saints, historians, litterateurs, and subject experts will participate. Along the journey route, there will be visits to mythological and historical sites along with religious programmes.
Parikrama Path and Programme
The Kshipra Teerth Parikrama journey will start on June 4 from Ramghat in Ujjain and proceed to Narsingh Ghat, Karkaraj Temple, Nanakheda, Triveni, Shani Temple, and Gurukul School. Here, arrangements for rest and prasad will be in place. The journey will resume and proceed via Sikandari, Gothda, Chintaman, Bhookhi Mata, Guru Nanak Ghat and return to Ramghat in the evening. A musical presentation by renowned bhajan singer Shri Pawan Tiwari will take place here.
On June 5, the Parikrama will resume from Dutt Akhada Ghat with flag worship and will pass through Ranjit Hanuman, Mangalnath, Kal Bhairav, Sandipani Ashram, Rinamukteshwar, and other pilgrimage sites, returning to Ramghat at 5 PM.
Special Programme on Ganga Dussehra
On the evening of June 5, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will offer a 351-feet long grand chunri to Mother Kshipra at Dutt Akhada Ghat. On this occasion, the Symphony Band of the Indian Army, renowned Harikatha narrator from Gwalior Pt. Dholi Buwa Maharaj, and famous bhajan singer from Mumbai Ms. Swasti Mehul will present their performances.
The event will include the presence of Member of Parliament Shri Umeshnathji Maharaj, Shri Anil Firojiya, Executive President of the Kshipra Teerth Parikrama Event Mahant Rameshwardas Maharaj, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kalukheda, Mayor Shri Mukesh Tatwal, along with several public representatives, social workers, and devotees.
