CM Mohan Yadav praised the Lodha community for its significant contributions to the state’s development, rooted in the values, hard work, and courage inspired by Lord Shri Ram. He noted that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, the empowerment of the poor, youth, farmers, and women, with a focus on education, has helped all communities become more capable while promoting Indian culture and Sanatan values. CM Mohan Yadav highlighted that the Backward Classes Commission was granted constitutional status through Prime Minister Modi’s initiative. He also mentioned the Lodha community’s construction of the Samajik Bhawan in the state capital, which will serve as a venue for community events and provide essential facilities to support youth with better education and training. During the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the Samajik Bhawan on Sunday, CM Mohan Yadav announced a grant of Rs 25 lakh for its construction and assured full support from the state government for social activities.
CM Mohan Yadav emphasized the state government’s efforts to increase farmers’ income and provide them with necessary facilities. To ease land-related tasks for farmers, a cyber tehsil system has been launched. The expansion of solar pump facilities is also underway to reduce farmers’ electricity costs. The Chambal-Kalisindh-Parvati river-linking project and the Ken-Betwa link project are being developed to improve irrigation across the state. In addition, the minimum support price for wheat has been set at Rs 2,600 per quintal, and a plan to provide bonuses on milk is in place to support farmers’ incomes.
To encourage industrial growth and create job opportunities for the state’s youth, CM Mohan Yadav shared that regional industry summits have been initiated, with the Global Investors Summit scheduled for 24-25 February in Bhopal. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event. CM Mohan Yadav noted that both Indian and international industrial groups are eager to expand operations in Madhya Pradesh, given the state’s abundant land, water, and energy resources. He expressed confidence that, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, Madhya Pradesh is steadily moving toward becoming a leading state in the country. Rajya Sabha member Smt. Maya Narolia and MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma also spoke at the event.
CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated the ceremony by lighting a lamp and garlanding the portrait of Lord Lodheshwar, the society’s revered figure. During the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for the Samajik Bhawan, he released a souvenir and the ‘Kisan ki Gatha’ annual diary. He also honored talented children and youth with certificates. The Chief Minister received a warm welcome with a shower of flowers, and Seoni Malwa MLA and President of the All India Lodha Samaj, Shri Prem Shankar Verma, presented him with a shawl, shriphal, and a memento. District society presidents also welcomed CM Mohan Yadav with a large garland.
It was announced during the program that the building being constructed by the Lodha Samaj will serve as a cultural hub. It will host auspicious events, offer housing for youth visiting Bhopal for education and job opportunities, and provide accommodation for individuals from nearby villages seeking medical treatment, ensuring they benefit from the facilities provided by the Samajik Bhawan.
