During his visit to Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav engaged with key stakeholders from the furniture, timber, and hospitality sectors. Highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s rich forest reserves, especially its unparalleled teak forests, CM Mohan Yadav proposed joint efforts between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh to strengthen the furniture industry. He also noted the steady pace of industrial expansion and increasing investment activity in the state.
New Policies Aimed at Driving Industrial Growth
CM Mohan Yadav informed the entrepreneurs that the recent Global Investors Summit held in Bhopal this February marked the introduction of 18 new industrial policies. These include a range of incentives available to entrepreneurs nationwide. He also spotlighted innovative reforms in the state’s industrial landscape, such as support for private players to establish medical colleges—offering land and facilities at subsidized rates. While the state had only five medical colleges earlier, it now boasts 36, with a goal of reaching 50 within two years. In addition to healthcare, several other sectors are drawing strong investment interest from across India.

Addressing Rajasthan’s business community, CM Mohan Yadav invited them to set up industries in Madhya Pradesh, assuring complete assistance under the state’s investor-friendly policies. He also discussed the state’s ongoing “Industry and Employment Year 2025” campaign, which includes a series of roadshows and conclaves to promote investment.
Entrepreneurs from Rajasthan shared their ideas and suggestions during the meeting. The event was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary (Forests) Shri Ashok Barnwal, along with other senior officials. The gathering began with a warm welcome to CM Mohan Yadav from local industrial representatives.
