During the high-profile “Dhanyawad Evam Viksit Faridabad Rally,” Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini unveiled a comprehensive development roadmap for the city. Aiming to transform the industrial hub into a modern urban center, the CM Nayab Saini led administration announced several key projects spanning healthcare, sports, and environmental sustainability.
Green Initiatives and Urban Planning
A significant highlight of the rally was the focus on eco-friendly urban development. Under the Divya Nagar Yojana, a new Nature Park will be developed in Greater Faridabad to increase the city’s green cover. To combat water scarcity, CM Nayab Saini announced that the first phase of a massive water conservation project will see Rain Water Harvesting systems installed in 50 community centers and 300 public parks across the city.
Healthcare and Education Upgrades
Addressing the long-standing demands of the residents, CM Nayab Saini confirmed that land would be made available for a new Kendriya Vidyalaya, ensuring better educational access for the children of central government employees and locals. Furthermore, a new multi-specialty hospital will be established in Sector-8 through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode to strengthen the local healthcare infrastructure.

Sports and Commercial Expansion
Athletes in the region received a boost as the Chief Minister ordered the immediate upgrade and functional restoration of the swimming pool at the Sector-12 Sports Stadium. On the economic front, CM Nayab Saini directed the HSIIDC to develop IMT Sector-66 as a dedicated commercial sector, which is expected to generate significant employment and investment opportunities.
“Our government is committed to the holistic growth of Haryana. This additional grant of ₹5 crore is just a part of our ongoing efforts to ensure Faridabad becomes a benchmark for urban excellence,” stated CM Nayab Saini.
