CM Nayab Singh : Haryana’s sex ratio has improved significantly, rising from 861 to 910 over the past decade, with ongoing efforts to achieve even greater progress.
Haryana CM Nayab Singh, emphasized that under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, the state government has worked tirelessly over the past decade to combat gender discrimination, ensure girls receive quality education, support their aspirations, and safeguard their rights. He noted that the nationwide campaign, launched on January 22, 2015, from Panipat under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, has been instrumental in addressing this social issue. As a result, Haryana has seen remarkable progress, with the sex ratio improving from 861 in 2014 to 910 today. The state government remains committed to eradicating this issue entirely through sustained efforts.

Addressing a question, CM Nayab Singh outlined the state government’s commitment to further improving the sex ratio. He stated that officials have been directed to work with full dedication to eliminate this social evil from its roots. During a recent review meeting of the Women and Child Development Department, it was decided to appoint women Sarpanches as ambassadors in their respective villages. This initiative is expected to bolster efforts to improve the sex ratio and drive further progress.

When asked about former Delhi Chief Minister Sh. Arvind Kejriwal, Haryana CM Nayab Singh remarked that the people of Delhi are deeply disillusioned with Kejriwal’s leadership. He accused Sh. Kejriwal of repeatedly misleading the public with false promises of transforming Delhi into a city akin to Paris over the last decade. However, instead of delivering on these promises, Kejriwal has only managed to transform his own home into a “Paris-like” residence.

Responding to a query about the CAG report highlighting Rs 380 crore corruption in the Delhi government’s health department, CM Nayab Singh alleged that Sh. Arvind Kejriwal is heavily involved in corrupt practices. He accused Kejriwal of betraying the trust of the people of Delhi, claiming that while Kejriwal has pursued his personal ambitions, he has crushed the dreams he once promised to fulfill for the public. The Chief Minister also expressed confidence that the Aam Aadmi Party would fail to secure any seats in the upcoming election results on February 8.
