Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini visited the Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan in Nur Mahal, Jalandhar, to participate in the Guru Purnima celebrations held today. He was accompanied by Union Minister of State for Railways, Ravneet Singh Bittu.
During the visit, CM Nayab Singh offered his respects at the portrait of Shri Ashutosh Ji Maharaj and sought his blessings. He extended warm wishes to all the devotees present.
Addressing the gathering, the CM Nayab Singh highlighted the significance of Guru Purnima, calling it a sacred occasion to express gratitude towards the Gurus who guide us with the light of knowledge and show us the path of righteous living.
CM Nayab Singh also toured the Kamdhenu Gaushala within the Sansthan premises, where he participated in cow worship rituals and served the cows as part of Gau Seva.
Later, CM Nayab Singh paid a visit to Baba Mohan Dass Ashram in Jalandhar, where he offered his respects to Baba Mohan Dass Ji Maharaj. He shared that he has long been associated with Guru Ji and receives his blessings every year. He expressed joy over gathering with others to celebrate Guru Purnima.
On this occasion,CM Nayab Singh urged everyone to take a pledge under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign by planting trees. He emphasized the need for environmental conservation amid rising pollution and increasing dependency on air conditioners. He called for following the teachings of Gurus and Saints to address challenges like climate change.
CM Nayab Singh also visited Dera Sachkhand Ballan in Jalandhar, where he paid homage and received blessings. He commended the teachings of Guru Ravidass Ji, whose messages of equality, peace, and social harmony remain an inspiration. He lauded the Dera’s efforts in community service, education, and health, and assured continued government support for their constructive work.
On his way to Jalandhar, CM Nayab Singh made an unscheduled stop in Jamsher village, where he interacted with a local shopkeeper and villagers. He greeted them warmly and inquired about their well-being and concerns, receiving a positive response from the residents.
Several senior BJP leaders and dignitaries were present alongside the Chief Minister during these engagements.
