Continuing its “Pre-Budget Consultation” initiative, Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini engaged with Ministers, MLAs, and Administrative Secretaries today to gather insights for the 2025-26 budget, ensuring it reflects the needs of all stakeholders.
The first session of this two-day consultation commenced at Red Bishop, Panchkula, under CM Nayab Singh Saini’s leadership. This marks the sixth consecutive year of the State Government organizing such discussions. This year, sector-specific meetings have been conducted, starting with an industry and chartered accountants’ meeting in Gurugram on January 2. Further discussions were held in Hisar with agricultural experts, FPOs, and progressive farmers. Additional consultations included startups, youth, women entrepreneurs, self-help groups, Namo Drone Didi, and the textile industry. For the first time, citizens could submit suggestions via an online portal, receiving nearly 10,000 responses.
As Finance Minister, CM Nayab Singh Saini emphasized the commitment to an inclusive budget by incorporating valuable suggestions from MLAs of both ruling and opposition parties. He assured that the best inputs would shape the upcoming budget, benefiting Haryana’s 2.80 crore citizens. He also highlighted that this budget, the first in the government’s third term under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will further accelerate the state’s development.
During the consultation, CM Nayab Singh Saini attentively considered MLAs’ recommendations, ensuring their inclusion for both immediate improvements and long-term growth. Present at the meeting were Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan, Deputy Speaker Dr. Krishan Kumar Midha, Ministers, MLAs, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Chief Principal Secretary Rajesh Khullar, and senior government officials.
CM Nayab Singh Saini had personally invited all MLAs to participate in this crucial consultation. The second session, scheduled for March 4, will include discussions from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, where further suggestions from MLAs and Ministers will be incorporated into the final budget framework.
