Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini distributed ₹68.34 crore under the Nayab Singh Saini cow welfare scheme during the 126th annual Bhatgaon celebration, supporting cow shelters and extending Holi greetings in Haryana.
Cow Welfare Scheme: During the 126th annual celebration of the charitable cow shelter in Bhatgaon, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini hosted the “Cow Shelter Feed Grant Distribution Ceremony,” welcoming devotees and cow service workers from across Haryana. He also extended warm wishes to all for the upcoming Holi festival.
As part of the event, the Nayab Singh Saini cow welfare scheme distributed a total of ₹68.34 crore to 602 registered cow shelters across the state. In Sonipat district alone, 27 cow shelters received ₹5.60 crore in feed grants, demonstrating the scheme’s extensive reach and commitment to cow protection.
Since its launch, the Nayab Singh Saini cow welfare scheme has contributed over ₹525 crore to cow shelters in Haryana, ensuring financial support for feed, maintenance, and overall welfare. This initiative reflects the Chief Minister’s vision of combining traditional values with modern governance to strengthen animal welfare.
Under the Nayab Singh Saini cow welfare scheme, Bhatgaon charitable cow shelter and two local panchayats were provided ₹21 lakh each, supporting community-based cow conservation and promoting sustainable practices for livestock care.
