CM Nayab Singh Saini makes major announcement for Agroha

The Chief Minister made this announcement today at a program organized by the Akhil Bhartiya Agrawal Sammelan in Agroha, Hisar district.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that to spread the glory of Agroha Dham and the message of equality, compassion, cooperation, democracy, harmony, brotherhood, non-violence given by Maharaja Agrasen, the journey that started from Chandigarh on August 3 has now reached here after travelling across the state. He said that it is a matter of pride that Maharaja Agrasen made Agroha his capital on this holy land.
The Chief Minister said that the airport being built in Hisar has been named after Maharaja Agrasen. The establishment of this airport will give Haryana a distinct identity on the world’s air map.
Haryana Becomes the First Choice for Investors
The Chief Minister said that in line with the principles of equality and social harmony of Maharaja Agrasen, the Haryana government has ensured equitable development in every sector. Over the past decade, new records of development have been set in Haryana. The Haryana government has taken numerous effective steps to create a conducive environment for industry and business.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that along with financial incentives, timely delivery of government services has been ensured for industrialists, traders, and investors. As a result, Haryana has become the first choice for entrepreneurs both domestically and internationally for capital investment.
6.71 Lakh Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises established in the last 10 years
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that to accelerate industrial development, the Haryana government has developed an Ease of Doing Business ecosystem. To promote large-scale industries, the Haryana Enterprise and Employment Policy-2020 has been implemented. An MSME department has been established to promote micro, small, and medium enterprises. In the past decade, 6,71,524 micro, small, and medium enterprises have been set up in the state, providing employment to 34 lakh people. Additionally, to address traders’ issues, the Haryana Traders Welfare Board has been established, informed Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
Opportunities for Youth in Self-Employment
The Chief Minister said that through central and state government schemes, youth today have numerous self-employment opportunities. Under the Stand-Up India scheme, 6,027 young entrepreneurs in the state have been provided loans amounting to Rs. 1,238 crore. Similarly, under the Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY), 36 lakh youths have been given loans totaling Rs. 35,950 crore to establish employment. For setting up new food processing units in the state, a 25 percent capital investment subsidy is provided on project costs, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
The Chief Minister further said that the government recently decided to increase the commission for paddy procurement to Rs. 55 per quintal for arhtiyas. Besides this, a compensation of Rs. 12 crore has been decided for arthiyas to cover the losses incurred during the previous rabi season due to wheat shortage. He said that our double-engine government is working in mission mode and continuously making life easier and simpler for people. Today, the benefits of government schemes are reaching eligible beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Cabinet Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta said that the airport is being built on 7200 acres of land in the name of Maharaja Agrasen in Hisar. He said that the airport will get the license within the next 7 to 10 days, and after this, the first flight to Ayodhya will take off from this airport. Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has also been invited to inaugurate the airport. It is expected that the airport will be inaugurated this month.
Bus service will be started from every district headquarters to Agroha – Aseem Goel
Minister of State for Transport, Sh. Aseem Goel said that Maharaja Agrasen had established socialism in the true sense. In his kingdom, the poor and the rich were treated equally. The Bharatiya Janata Party government is also developing the country and the state by following the path shown by Maharaja Agrasen. He announced that bus service will be started from every district headquarters of the state to Agroha so that people get an opportunity to visit this holy place.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced to give Rs. 21 lakh from his discretionary fund to Agroha Shaktipeeth Tirth Sthal and Cabinet Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta and Minister of State, Sh. Aseem Goel also announced to give Rs. 11 lakh each from discretionary funds.
On this occasion, former Minister, Smt. Savitri Jindal, Mayor Sh. Kulbhushan Goyal, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Pradeep Dahiya, and other dignitaries remained present.
