CM Nayab Singh Saini , along with his wife, takes a sacred dip in the Sangam at Maha Kumbh.
Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, accompanied by his wife Smt. Suman Saini, took a sacred dip in the Triveni Sangam at Arail Pakka Ghat during the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. On this occasion, he performed Puja with due rituals and witnessed the grand confluence of spirituality and Sanatan traditions.
CM Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that the Kumbh holds deep significance in Indian culture. He noted that during the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, every Sanatani aspires to take a holy dip in the Sangam. As per scriptures, bathing in the Kumbh is believed to lead to salvation, which is why the most revered sages and saints gather at the Maha Kumbh to participate in this sacred ritual.
Highlighting the uniqueness of the Triveni Sangam, he described it as the sacred confluence of Maa Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, calling it a breathtaking sight on Indian soil. He emphasized that the Maha Kumbh bath in Teerthraj Prayag is a grand, divine, and extraordinary experience.
To ensure that the elderly in the state have the opportunity to take a holy dip during the Maha Kumbh, he stated that the Haryana Government has expanded the Chief Minister’s Teerth Darshan Yojana to include Maha Kumbh. Special buses are being operated from every district to Prayagraj for this purpose.
BJP State President Mohan Lal Badoli and other dignitaries were also present with the Chief Minister.
