CM Nitish Kumar visited the Fatuha Industrial Area under BIADA and inspected Vanshi Medicare Pvt. Ltd., where surgical gloves are being manufactured.
During his visit, he reviewed the manufacturing unit and testing room and interacted with the company’s workers engaged in production. CM Nitish then toured Vanshi Air Gases Pvt. Ltd., where oxygen cylinders are refilled, and also spoke with the employees there. It is noteworthy that Vanshi Medicare Pvt. Ltd. was allotted 24,156 sq. ft. of land in the Fatuha Industrial Area on 28.10.2021 for the production of surgical gloves. The unit currently provides employment to around 300–350 people, with priority given to women workers to support their economic empowerment. Along with catering to the Indian market, the company also exports its products to Kenya and Nepal.
The Chief Minister further inspected High Spirit Commercial Ventures Pvt. Ltd. in the Fatuha Industrial Area, which manufactures school bags and backpacks. He observed the cutting, stitching, and quality-checking departments during his visit. This unit too prioritizes women in employment, contributing to their financial growth, and supplies its products not only within India but also to neighboring countries.
On this occasion, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of Industries Department, Shri Mihir Kumar Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Kumar Ravi, Special Duty Officer to the CM, Shri Gopal Singh, Commissioner of Patna Division, Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, District Magistrate Dr. Tyagarajan S.M., SSP Shri Kartikeya K. Sharma, and other senior officials were present.
