CM Nitish Kumar inspected the Salepur-Narsanda-Telmar-Karota road today. The road starts from SH-78 (Bihta-Sarmera road) and passes through Salepur, Narsanda, Telmar and Karauta to meet NH-30 (Jagdamba place bend of Patna-Mokama road). This route is an alternative route to reach Rajgir. This route will be expanded to four lanes, which will provide more convenience and time saving to the people in their journey to Rajgir.
Later, CM Nitish inspected the proposed route of Buddha Circuit four-lane road project from Salepur to Rajgir in Nalanda district and gave necessary instructions to the officials. This two-lane road will be converted into four-lane, which will give a better travel experience to those going from Patna to Rajgir and also reduce the time. During the inspection, the officials informed that an elevated road will be constructed over the railway line that is coming in the proposed route.
After Salepur Mor, CM Nitish also conducted site inspection at Chauhan Mor, Beldaripar and Noorsarai. Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary Road Construction Department Mihir Kumar Singh, Secretaries to Chief Minister Anupam Kumar and Kumar Ravi, Special Officer on Special Duty Gopal Singh, Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Nalanda District Magistrate Shashank Shubhankar and other senior officers.
