CM Nitish Kumar today inaugurated 99 schemes worth Rs. 22, 497.73 lakh and laid foundation stone of 112 schemes worth Rs. 26, 919.17 lakh under Supaul district. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister visited Ward No-12 (Mahadalit Tola) of Maladgaon in Kishanpur block of Supaul district and took stock of developmental schemes. During the visit, the Chief Minister unveiled and inaugurated the foundation stone related to the construction of Chhath Ghat in the public puddle, soil cum paver block construction work and installation of solar lights in 4 wards of Malad Panchayat.

After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the public pond. As part of the inspection, the Chief Minister also released fish cumin (Matsya Angulika) in the public pond. At the same time, he directed the officials that the way a staircase-like ghat has been constructed on one side of the puddle, in the same way, a staircase-like ghat should be constructed on all three sides of the puddle so that people can take bath during Chhath fasting, rituals, etc.
He said that under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali scheme, we have renovated all the public wells, ponds, ponds etc. Life is safe only between water and greenery, so people should understand the importance of water and greenery. The Chief Minister also planted a sapling near the pond.

The Chief Minister visited the exhibition put up by the Agriculture Department, Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Rural Development Department, Social Welfare Department, Minority Welfare Department and many other departments. After inspecting the primary school in Malad, the Chief Minister enquired about the education and facilities being provided to the children. Appreciating the teachers for imparting education to young children through poetry and games, the Chief Minister said that they were imparting knowledge to children in a proper manner. In this way, young children will learn faster and more, this will increase their understanding. Meanwhile, the District Magistrate informed the Chief Minister that 105 such schools are being run in the district. Apart from this, a large number of Anganwadi centres are also being built.

The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of newly constructed buildings of primary schools and the buildings to be constructed. Later, the Chief Minister inspected the Integrated Child Development Project and interacted with the children. The children told the Chief Minister that studies are held here regularly and we also get the benefits of the schemes run on time. The Chief Minister handed over the keys of battery operated tricycles sanctioned by the Directorate of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities under the Social Welfare Department to the beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister released the ‘Samadhan Pustak’ related to District Public Grievance Redressal at a programme held at Malad Panchayat. On the occasion, the Chief Minister distributed token cheques and sanction letters to the beneficiaries selected under Bihar Student Credit Card, Skilled Youth Programme, Agriculture Mechanization Scheme, Makhana Bhandar Griha Scheme, Soil Health Card, Grants under SC / ST Atrocities Act, Compassionate Employment Letter, Mukhya Mantri Granin Awas Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Disabled Marriage Scheme, Antarjya Vivah Protsahan Grant Scheme etc. The Chief Minister distributed endowment leaflets among the beneficiaries of the campaign Basera-2.

The Chief Minister unveiled and inaugurated the foundation stone of newly constructed two lane ROB cum approach road of National Highway No. 327A at a cost of Rs. 2990 lakh at Saraigarh. Construction of High Level Bridge including newly constructed approach road at Bairia Manch-Mungrar Path at a cost of Rs. 3911.34 lakh, widening and strengthening of Virpur-Basmatiya road at a cost of Rs. 1438.80 lakh, widening and strengthening of road from NH 0-327 A Parashrama Road to Chayan Singh Patti via BSS College at a cost of Rs. 1302.20 lakh and widening and strengthening of NH 0-327 E to Mohaniya PWD Path via Maricha, Jagatpur and Kataiya Tola at a cost of Rs. 2639.75 lakh. During this, the Chief Minister said that many roads have been inaugurated today. With the construction of these roads, people will now have more convenience in commuting. Take special care that the roads are well maintained.

The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of two police buildings, including the newly constructed Model Police Station Building Bhaptiahi in Supaul district at a cost of Rs. 6.82 crore and 200 Mahila Sipahi Barracks and 6 police station buildings constructed at a cost of Rs. 24.26 crore. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the newly constructed police station buildings.

Local public representatives, leaders and district administration welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting flower bouquets, angavastram and mementos to him.

Chandrasekhar Reddy, DIG of Police Anil Kumar, Judicial Officers and others were present.
