CM Nitish Kumar today inspected the under-construction bridge from Kangan Ghat to Didarganj under JP Ganga Path project. The officials apprised him of the progress of the project and informed that the construction work of this section is being expedited which will be completed by 31st March. The officials also shared the status of the widening and strengthening works of the proposed Patna Sahib-Patna Ghat route and Didarganj-Bakhtiyarpur-Mokama route on the land transferred from the Railways through the site map.
During the inspection, CM Nitish Kumar directed the officials to complete the construction work from Kangan Ghat to Didarganj as soon as possible. He said that he is constantly monitoring the progress of the project. He also mentioned that with the construction of JP Ganga Path up to Didarganj, the travel time to Biharsharif, Mokama and Begusarai will be saved, which will facilitate the commuters in commuting to Patna and nearby areas. Describing it as an important project, the Chief Minister said that it would ease the traffic system and increase mobility in the city.
