CM Nitish Kumar inspects Danapur-Bihta Elevated Corridor and Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga Bridge, orders acceleration of construction to ensure timely completion and improve connectivity in Bihar.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday personally visited the ongoing construction sites of the Danapur-Bihta Elevated Corridor and the Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga Bridge to assess the progress of these crucial infrastructure projects. During the visit, CM Kumar expressed satisfaction with the ongoing work but instructed officials to further accelerate construction to ensure timely completion.
Danapur-Bihta Elevated Corridor: Enhancing Connectivity
The Danapur-Bihta Elevated Corridor, a key project aimed at easing traffic between Patna and Bihta, is progressing rapidly without any significant hindrances. Officials informed the CM that upon completion, the corridor will provide seamless connectivity to Patna Metro, the International Airport, and other major roads, reducing traffic congestion towards Koilwar and improving overall transit efficiency.
Highlighting the importance of continuous monitoring, CM Kumar emphasized that all potential issues must be addressed promptly to avoid delays. He directed the concerned authorities to ensure the project meets the scheduled timeline.

The Danapur-Bihta Elevated Corridor is expected to be completed by September 2026, as confirmed by officials. Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga Bridge: Connecting North and South Bihar

Once completed, this bridge will significantly enhance connectivity between North and South Bihar, facilitating smoother traffic flow and easing congestion in Patna city.
