CM Nitish Kumar today inspected the construction work of Mithapur-Mahuli Four Lane Elevated Road. During this, he stopped at Mithapur flyover Golambar and got detailed information about this project from the officials. The elevated road will connect the Mithapur-Mahuli road over the Sipara bridge, and a service road will also be constructed on both sides near the Mithapur railway crossing, officials said.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the remaining works of the elevated path expeditiously so that the general public gets relief in commuting and also get rid of the problem of congestion in the bypass area. This will greatly facilitate the people commuting to and from Patna and adjoining areas.
Later, CM Nitish inspected the construction work of Punpun Suspension Bridge and beautification of Punpun Ghat. He interacted with the people present on the occasion. The people thanked the Chief Minister and said that due to his efforts, the region has developed. The Chief Minister said that people will now be able to reach Punpun Ghat easily and there will be no problem in the process of Pind Daan. He also informed that he has a long association with the area and has always been coming here.
The Chief Minister also inspected the service roads being constructed near the crossing point of Bihta-Sarmera road and Patna-Gaya-Dobhi road in Mahuli. Officials said the construction of this road will provide better connectivity between the two roads.
