Moved by the plight of disaster-affected people, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami halted his convoy, broke protocol, and personally reached out to victims in Tharali to hear their concerns and assure full support.
CM Pushkar : During his on-ground inspection of disaster-hit areas, some villagers requested him to expedite the reopening of roads leading to upper villages. The Chief Minister assured them that restoration work was being carried out on a war footing, and once the route is safe, he would personally visit those villages to review the situation with the residents.
It is noteworthy that during the Dharali disaster, CM Dhami had stayed in the affected area for three consecutive days, directly monitoring all relief and rescue operations. Sending a clear message, the Chief Minister emphasized that the Uttarakhand government stands firmly with every affected family and is making every possible effort to deliver timely relief and assistance to all impacted villages.
