CM Pushkar Dhami on Monday directed all the District Magistrates connected through virtual medium to be constantly at ground zero with their entire team in view of the continuous rainfall in the state. The roads should be repaired as soon as possible in the event of flooding. Arrangements should be made as soon as possible in case of damage to drinking water and electricity lines. It should also be ensured that in case of disruption of rural connectivity, alternate arrangements for movement of people should be ensured at the earliest. All preparations have been taken to face the flood situation.
CM Pushkar Dhami said that the damage caused to crops due to rains should be assessed soon. The Chief Minister gave clear instructions to the district magistrates that strict legal action should be taken against those who have obtained ration card, Aadhaar card, voter card, Ayushman card and other documents by wrong means and those involved in making such cards. At the same time, the process of removing encroachments in the districts should also be carried out regularly. Under ‘Operation Kalnemi’ also, regular action should be ensured against those who mislead the public in the guise of faith. The Chief Minister directed all the district magistrates to conduct regular inspection of government hospitals in their respective districts. This includes issues such as availability of medicines, attendance of doctors, condition of equipment and sanitation. The Chief Minister said that he himself would conduct surprise inspections of hospitals from time to time and review various arrangements.
CM Pushkar Dhami directed the district magistrates to expedite the works related to infrastructure development after the rains. Special attention should be paid to the quality and timeliness of roads, bridges, drains and other construction works. At the same time, the flagship schemes of the state and central government should be reviewed regularly. The Chief Minister said that indigenous products should be given priority in all the government offices of the state. At the same time, people should be encouraged to use indigenous products. A public awareness campaign should be launched in this regard. Regular efforts should be made towards’ Atmanirbhar Bharat “and ‘Vocal for Local.”
CM Pushkar Dhami also thanked the State Election Commission and all the officers, staff and security personnel engaged in the election process for successfully conducting the three-tier panchayat election process in the state.
