CM Pushkar said that providing citizens with a smooth, safe, and transparent system is the government’s top priority.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami chaired a high-level meeting at the Secretariat on Wednesday to review the state’s law and order, road conditions, the upcoming Seva Pakhwada, and other public welfare issues.
The CM directed strict action against anyone disturbing law and order. Regular monitoring through CCTV cameras must be ensured at sensitive locations, intensive checking campaigns conducted at state borders, and night patrolling by police made more effective.
On road conditions, the CM instructed that a special campaign be launched after the monsoon to make roads pothole-free. Tender processes for repair and maintenance should be completed in advance so that road improvement work begins promptly.
Highlighting the upcoming Seva Pakhwada to be held from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17 till Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, the CM said that various service, awareness, and public welfare programs will be organized across districts. Officials were directed to prepare and implement detailed action plans for each district within a set timeframe. He also mentioned that he himself will travel by road to different districts to directly assess arrangements.
Taking note of complaints regarding sand-mixed salt, the CM ordered immediate sampling and testing, warning that strict action would be taken against anyone found guilty.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, Principal Secretaries, DGP Deepam Seth, ADG A.P. Anshuman, Special Secretary Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, and Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari.
