CM Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program organized on the occasion of 50th Nirvana Day at Shri Brahma Niwas Ashram, Sapt Sarovar Road, Bhupatwala on Monday. The Chief Minister said that Pujya Satguru Lal Das Maharaj gave priority to spirituality in his life and inspired the people to lead the society on the path of service, truth and devotion. He has brought Bhakti to the masses. His speech had amazing power and his vision had immense compassion like that of Lord Buddha. Pujya Satguru worked to unite the society. He taught throughout his life that service is the biggest religion.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Sanatan culture is being propagated all over the world. The world is getting acquainted with our ancient culture and philosophy. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the state government is constantly working towards preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Devbhoomi. It is also proposed to construct Rishikesh-Haridwar corridor in the state. After the construction of the corridor, the holy city of Haridwar will also be seen in its grand form like Kashi and Ayodhya.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is fully committed to preserve the cultural values and demography of Uttarakhand. Strict action has been taken against hateful mindsets in the state. A strict anti-conversion law has also been implemented in the state. To ensure equal rights and justice to all, the first Uniform Civil Code law in the country has also been implemented in the state.
“Operation Kalnemi is being carried out in the state against those who cheat common people by disguising themselves in the guise of Sanatan. Through this operation, action has been taken against such hypocrites and heretics who work to defame our Sanatan Hindu Dharma in disguise. He said that students will also be taught about Bhagavad Gita in schools. Along with this, the Centre for Hindu Studies has also been established in Doon University.
