CM Pushkar : The officers should constantly interact with the MLAs to solve the various problems of the people of the assembly constituencies. The work of the top priorities given by the legislators should be expedited. If there is any problem in any work, then the secretary and the head of the department should solve the problem by talking to the MLAs of the concerned area. Officers of the level of Additional Secretary as nodal officers should be given the responsibility soon to act as a bridge between the administration and the assembly constituency for the successful implementation of the announcements and other important schemes made under all the 70 assemblies of the state. Some innovations should be made in every assembly highlighting its cultural traditions and heritage.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami gave these instructions to the officials while reviewing the Chief Minister’s announcements and other works of the Legislative Assemblies under Haridwar Lok Sabha constituency at the Secretariat on Friday. In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that a detailed plan should be made for a permanent solution to the problem of waterlogging in Haridwar. The proposal should be completed soon. DPR should be prepared in a month for permanent water arrangement at Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh. The process of developing Sanjay Lake as a tourist centre should be expedited. A well-planned plan should be worked out to arrange alternative routes so that people do not face problems for commuting and other important works during the Kanwar Yatra. Drainage system should be strengthened in urban areas. Special attention should be paid to the construction and beautification of parks.
CM Pushkar directed the officials to expedite the construction works after the monsoon. A campaign should be launched to make the roads pothole free after the rains. The Chief Minister directed that a nodal officer be appointed for the satellite centre of AIIMS to be built in AIIMS Rishikesh and Kichha. Two villages in every district should be developed as model villages. During the meeting, the MLAs raised the problems of waterlogging, parking and beautification works, drainage and sewerage problems, construction of drains, traffic management and other problems. The Chief Minister directed the officials to address the problems of the farmers at the earliest.
