CM Pushkar Singh Dhami dedicates PM Shree Kendriya Vidyalaya built at a cost of Rs. 26.23 crore in Khatima The Kendriya Vidyalaya running in Khatima since 2019 has got its own building Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khatima built at a cost of Rs. 26.23 crore while participating in a program organized under Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam in Khatima on Tuesday. He also planted a sapling in the school premises on the occasion.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that these are moments of joy and pride for all. On the historic occasion of the completion of 5 years of the new revolution in the field of education in the country, a new era of knowledge and science is also beginning in Khatima. On behalf of all the Khatima residents, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for gifting the Kendriya Vidyalaya to Khatima. He said that the education of Kendriya Vidyalayas will be very useful for the children of our army, paramilitary forces and all those personnel.
“If there was a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Khatima during my student days, he himself would have been a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya. He said that the students of Khatima did not have to migrate from here for education, so he made every possible effort to establish a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Khatima as an MLA and today the same school has also got its own building. He said that the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Khatima area will play an important role in providing quality education to the children here and also in their overall development. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, historic steps have been taken to improve the education system of the country through the National Education Policy in the year 2020. Through the National Education Policy, children are also getting help in getting success in competitive examinations along with employment-oriented education. Research and research is also being encouraged in this, which is also developing scientific thinking in children and youth.
Uttarakhand is the first state in the country to implement the National Education Policy. Under which we have taken an important and far-reaching educational initiative by starting Balvatika classes in more than 5600 Anganwadi centers of the state.CM Pushkar said that Khatima is his home and the residents there are his family members. “From Khatima, he started his journey of public service. Khatima’s soil and people always give her energy and inspiration. He said the state government has taken several important steps to strengthen the infrastructure ranging from health, education, drinking water in Khatima. In Khatima, the infrastructure has been strengthened by constructing a hi-tech bus stand, a modern ITI and polytechnic college and a new hospital complex with 100 beds, a state-of-the-art sports stadium of national level. To improve connectivity in the region, construction of Gadarpur and Khatima bypass, bridge at Nausar as well as extensive network of roads have been developed across the region.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government has started classes for MCom and MSc in Government College Khatima. An Eklavya school has also been started in the tribal dominated area. He said that the State Government is continuously working with full commitment for the welfare of every section of the state. As a result, our state has reached the first position in the country in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the SDG Index Report. He said that success has been achieved in bringing down the unemployment rate by a record 4.4 percent in the last year.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that strict action is being taken against hateful mindsets in the state. Strict anti-riot and anti-conversion laws have been implemented in the state. More than six and a half thousand acres of government land in the state have been freed from encroachment. Along with sealing of more than 200 illegal madrassas, more than 500 illegal structures have also been removed. We have also launched Operation Kalnemi in the state through which we are taking strict action against the hypocrites defaming Sanatan Dharma in the state. The Uniform Civil Code has been implemented in the state. With this, work has been done to provide government jobs to more than 23 thousand youth of the state.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that work is being done under the policy of zero tolerance to root out the termite of corruption from the state. As a result, in the last three years, we have sent more than 200 people, including IAS, PCS, who were involved in corruption, behind bars. He said that the state government is making continuous efforts to fulfill its choiceless resolve to make Devbhoomi Uttarakhand the best state in the country.
