CM Pushkar : Security arrangements at religious and tourist places in the state should be tightened. Special attention should also be paid to the security arrangements in view of the Char Dham Yatra. It should be regularly monitored by the District Magistrates in their respective districts. Immediate action should be taken against those who run fake news through various mediums during the Chardham Yatra and in other important cases and the correct information should be shared by the district magistrates through various mediums on a regular basis. These instructions were given by the Chief Minister to the District Magistrates during a virtual meeting from the Chief Minister’s residence.
CM Pushkar said that action should be taken as per rules against those who do not verify the tenants in the state. Those living in theli, phad and jhuggi huts should also be verified. Strict action should also be taken against those who give ration cards, Aadhaar cards, electricity connections, Ayushman cards and other documents to ineligible people. In the districts, the duty of officers of all departments should be appointed by the district magistrates for verification. The Chief Minister has directed to take strict action against those found involved in forest fire incidents with special focus on forest fire management.
The Chief Minister has also directed to ensure all necessary arrangements for effective control of dengue. He said that along with regular fogging, an awareness campaign should be run to prevent dengue. The Chief Minister has also directed not to do roasting of electricity in hospitals and to maintain smooth supply of electricity and water in the state during summer. All necessary arrangements should be made to ensure adequate availability of drinking water in the state. The Chief Minister said that in view of the upcoming Kainchidham anniversary, adequate parking arrangements should be ensured along with better condition of roads. CM Pushkar has directed all the District Magistrates to conduct surprise inspections of various offices from time to time. With this, the systems will also remain in place and the problems of the people will also be solved faster.
He said that multipurpose camps, tehsil days and BDC meetings should be held regularly. The Chief Minister said that the progress of smart meters should be regularly monitored. Complaints about electricity bills should be taken seriously. Immediate action should be taken against those who damaged government property. The Chief Minister said that it should be ensured that tenders up to Rs 10 crore are awarded to local contractors only. The District Magistrate should also maintain regular communication with the people associated with the industry. CM Pushkar has also directed to complete the target by giving targets to all the districts to promote the Chief Minister Solar Self-Employment Scheme.
CM Pushkar said that in view of the Chardham Yatra, special attention should be paid to traffic management and the condition of roads. Priority should be given to local operators of horses for Char Dham Yatra. Special attention should be given to cleanliness and beautification along with all the basic facilities for the devotees on the Chardham Yatra route. The rate list should be checked on the travel routes to ensure that there are no complaints of over-rating. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary R. K.
