Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog held in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The meeting focused on the theme “Viksit Bharat @2047: Inclusive Human Development”, emphasizing human resource development, good governance, innovation, and public participation to achieve India’s long-term development goals.

Focus on Inclusive Growth and Governance

During the discussions, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted that the government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last person in the queue. Special emphasis was placed on empowering youth, women, and farmers through targeted welfare and development initiatives.

The meeting also discussed strengthening transparent and accountable governance systems to ensure effective implementation of policies at the grassroots level.

Cooperative Federalism and Development Vision

The NITI Aayog Governing Council stressed the importance of coordinated efforts between the Centre and states to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. Leaders agreed that inclusive participation and innovation-driven governance are key to accelerating India’s development journey.

CM Dhami stated that Uttarakhand will play a significant role in contributing to the national development goals through collaborative efforts and effective implementation of schemes.
