CM Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organized by Divya Jyoti Sansthan at Ramlila Maidan, Kashipur on Thursday. On the sixth day of the Katha, he lit the lamp as the chief guest and honoured the Katha reader Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti by presenting her a garland and an angavastra.
Addressing the devotees, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the congregation of saints and Hari Katha are rare, which are received with great fortune. He expressed gratitude to Swami Umeshanand Ji and paid obeisance to Ashutosh Maharaj, the founder of Divya Jyoti Sansthan, saying that everyone is being blessed by his Gyanamrit.
Describing the land of Kashipur as a historical and spiritual heritage, he said that the Department of Archaeology has also certified its historicity. The Chief Minister referred to the historic development works in Kedarkhand and Badrinath Dham under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The Maa Balasundari temple in Kashipur has also been included under the Manas Khand Mandir Mala scheme, he said.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami underlined the government’s efforts to protect the state’s demography, remove encroachments and implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Reiterating the government’s commitment to the principle of “choiceless resolve,” he expressed gratitude to all saints and devotees.
On this occasion, MLA Najar Singh Manshahia, DC Mohinderpal, SDM Sagar Setia, Chairman Zila Parishad Bikram Mofar, Chairman Market Committee Gian Chand Singla, Kulwant Rai Singla, Ranjit Kaur Bhatti and Chairman Block Samiti Karamjit Kaur were also present.
