CM Pushkar Singh Dhami while participating virtually in the inauguration of Shravani Mela 2025 organized by Jageshwar Temple Committee on Wednesday extended best wishes to all the devotees and organizers of the Mela. The Chief Minister said that Jageshwar Dham Devbhoomi is a symbol of the mythological cultural heritage of Uttarakhand. He said that Shravani Mela is not only a religious event but also a living symbol of our folk faith, traditions and cultural values. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Amrit Kaal of revival of our cultural heritage is underway. The reconstruction of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Mahakal Lok and Kedarnath Badrinath Dham are excellent examples of this.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhamisaid that the State Government is committed for the conservation and development of major religious places of Kumaon under the Manas Khand Mandir Mala Mission. In the first phase of Jageshwar Master Plan, ₹146 crore has been approved. The second phase of the project has also been approved. The Chief Minister said that 40 km cycle track on the bank of Kosi river in Almora district, Shitalakhet is being developed as The Chief Minister said that the state government is working to make Uttarakhand a leading state. According to the NITI Aayog report, Uttarakhand has achieved the first position in the country in the Sustainable Development Goals. The state’s unemployment rate is lower than the national average. In the last four years, more than 24 thousand youth have been provided government jobs.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government has also taken stringent steps like strict anti-conversion law, Uniform Civil Code and Operation Kalnemi to protect religious and cultural values.
