He appealed to the youth to take inspiration from the life of Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali and follow the path of patriotism, honesty and courage. He said that the biography of Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali will be included in the school curriculum. A grand auditorium at Thalisain and a playground at Boongidhar would also be constructed, he added. He said that a hostel has been constructed for 100 poor and orphan children in Pithasain. On this occasion, the Chief Minister and the Education Minister awarded the first, second and third place students of class 10 and 12 in the Thalisain area. At the same time, women self-help groups, entrepreneurs and ex-servicemen working in different fields were felicitated.
