CM Vishnu Deo Sai, in a high-level review meeting held at the meeting hall of Rajnandgaon Zilla Panchayat under Good Governance Tihar, gave strict instructions to the officials regarding regular visits and migration to rural areas for development and public service and time-bound operation of revenue courts.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that the dream of developed Chhattisgarh will be realised only when the officers are connected with the ground reality and the problems of the people are solved directly in their presence. For this, all the Commissioners, Collectors and other senior officers should make regular visits and stay in the districts and blocks under them and strengthen the culture of accountability while ensuring physical monitoring of the development works being carried out in the area.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai directed the Revenue officials to ensure regular functioning of the Revenue Court. Along with this, every officer should work according to the predetermined court calendar. Only in very special circumstances should a court date be cancelled. This will not only provide timely justice to the common man but will also bring transparency in administrative work.
The Chief Minister also said that the backbone of good governance is that the officers should maintain public relations, be present among the public, and solve their problems quickly. This will not only strengthen the sense of trust, but also enhance the credibility of governance.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai reviewed the development works of Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh outpost and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai districts under Sushashan Tihar in a joint review meeting held at Zila Panchayat Bhawan of Rajnandgaon district today. The Chief Minister gave clear instructions to the meeting officials to ensure effective implementation of the schemes at the ground level and the benefits reach every eligible beneficiary on time.

There should be wide publicity of health schemes so that the general public gets information about the schemes in time and they can take advantage of it. Regular camps should be organised for speedy disposal of revenue cases. The pending demands of all housing schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, should be resolved 100 per cent. At the same time, timely action should be taken by maintaining coordination and transparency in the implementation of public welfare schemes of the government in the districts.
The Chief Minister said that the objective of Good Governance Tihar is to ensure that the reach of governance and administration is ensured to the village, poor and the last line citizen. CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that the measure of success of the schemes is not just paper progress, but the satisfaction and feeling of security on the faces of the beneficiaries.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that the State Government has successfully implemented most of the announcements made under the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the ground level. He appreciated the good work being done by the officers in all the districts and said that the administration should work with dedication and coordination as per the expectations of the people.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai directed the farmers to ensure availability of fertilisers and seeds on time and said that in view of the upcoming Kharif season, all the districts should ensure pre-preparedness as per the requirements of the farmers. At the same time, he directed the officials to make arrangements for quick disposal of pending revenue cases by holding camps so that common citizens can get time-bound solutions.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai informed that Atal Seva Kendras have been launched in 1460 Panchayats by the State Government. With the smooth operation of these centres, rural citizens will not need to go elsewhere for banks, documents and digital services. The Chief Minister handed over the responsibility of effective operation of these centres to the concerned officers and directed that public convenience should be given top priority.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai informed that it has been decided to organise Tiranga Yatras in all the Panchayats which will encourage national consciousness and citizen participation. He urged all the public representatives, officials and panchayat representatives to ensure active participation in this yatra.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that the dream of developed Chhattisgarh is a shared responsibility of all of us. Every officer and employee of the government administration will have to speed up the development journey by working with coordination, promptness and service.
