CM Vishnu Deo Sai gave a message of social harmony by giving gifts to needy Muslim sisters
In a special program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence, CM Vishnu Deo Sai gave a message of harmony and unity in the society by presenting gifts to the needy women of the Muslim society.
Under the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s initiative “Saugat-e-Modi,” CM Vishnu Deo Sai distributed gift packets to poor women, which included ladies suit cloth, sevaiyan, dates and sweets. Wishing everyone a happy Eid, he said the festival is a symbol of love, harmony and togetherness.
Earlier, 500 women were provided gift packets at the programme organised under the aegis of Minority Morcha and Chhattisgarh Waqf Board in Raipur.
On this occasion, Chairman Punjab Backward Classes Commission Sarwan Singh Ramgarhia, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Parveen Saini, Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait, Additional Deputy Commissioner (UD) Aashika Jain, Chairman Improvement Trust Advocate Rakesh Marwaha, SDM Shivraj Singh, District Congress Chief Dr Kuldeep Nanda, Principal Sports College Dr. Jaswinder Singh, ex principals Paramjit Singh and Satnam Singh Jabbal, District Sports Officer Rupesh Kumar, Executive Engineer (PWD) Rajinder Singh Gotra and others were present.
