CM Vishnu Deo Sai Discusses Sports Development with IOA President P.T. Usha
In a major step toward boosting sports in Chhattisgarh, CM Vishnu Deo Sai met with Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President and Rajya Sabha MP, Mrs. P.T. Usha, in New Delhi. To motivate excellence, he announced that Olympic gold medalists from the state would receive ₹3 crore, silver medalists ₹2 crore, and bronze medalists ₹1 crore as part of an incentive program.

Abujhmad Peace Half Marathon – Encouraging Future Runners
Another major initiative, the Abujhmad Peace Half Marathon, is set for March 2, 2025, with over 5,000 runners expected to compete. The event will feature three race categories—21 km, 10 km, and 5 km—to inspire young athletes and promote a competitive spirit.
