CM Vishnu Deo Sai informed the Prime Minister that Naxalism in Chhattisgarh is nearing its end due to coordinated efforts by security forces and public cooperation. He emphasized that the expansion of government initiatives into former Naxal strongholds has strengthened public trust. The state’s focus is now on developing Bastar as an emerging industrial and economic hub, generating employment for youth and improving the quality of life for tribal communities.
Discussing the state’s new industrial policy, CM Vishnu Deo Sai highlighted Chhattisgarh’s rising appeal to investors. He explained that the single-window clearance system, tax incentives, and business-friendly policies have encouraged major companies to invest in the state.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai also emphasized women’s empowerment and rural development as key government priorities. He shared details on efforts to promote self-employment for women, making them financially independent through self-help groups. Thousands of women in Bastar are benefiting from initiatives such as organic farming, handloom production, bamboo-based industries, and minor forest produce marketing, linking them to larger production and distribution networks.
