CM Vishnu Deo Sai attended as Chief Guest the special programme ‘Vimarsh “organized by the national opinion magazine’ Swadesh” at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium in Raipur today. Shri Ramdutt Chakradhar, Sah Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was the main speaker in the discussion on the topic “Time is Now to Decorate Ayodhya of the Mind.”
In his lecture, Sah Sarkaryavah Shri Chakradhar said that imbibing the ideals and qualities of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram in the mind is to decorate the “Ayodhya of the mind.” He said that not only the mind, but also our family, society, village and nation have to be made Ramya. Referring to the ideals of Shri Ram, he said that his life was full of virtues like commitment, patience, compassion, counsel, credit, justice, renunciation of ego, friendship and respect and equanimity towards others. By adopting these qualities, we can make our life meaningful.
Shri Chakradhar further explained in detail the ideal qualities of Shri Ram through small examples of incidents related to his life. He said that Sri Rama was firm in his promise – the very next day after the announcement of his coronation, he gladly accepted exile in honour of the promise made by his father Dasaratha. Similarly, he maintained patience in every situation of happiness and sorrow, never allowed egoism to come to him, and presented the ideal of respect by keeping equanimity with everyone. He said that by imbibing these qualities, we can empower our mind, family, society and nation and realize the vision of a developed India of 2047.
On this occasion, a book titled “Ram Kaju Kishen Binu” focusing on the Ayodhya movement and a book based on the folk art and culture of Chhattisgarh were released from the stage.

In his address,CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that Swadesh Patra Group in its continuous journey of seven decades has worked to reinforce the spirit of Indianness in the society. He said the Swadesh newspaper may be in a new avatar today, but its history is very rich. The publication of this journal started in 1948 immediately after the independence of the country with the vision of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the pioneer of Antyodaya and Integral Humanism. Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of our country, was also its editor.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that when Emergency was imposed in the country in 1975, most of the people of the Swadesh newspaper group were put in jail. Despite this, this letter continued to convey the spirit of Indianness to the people and remained unwavering. During the Emergency, democracy was murdered and lakhs of people were put in jail. Many families were destroyed. The government of former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh had started giving Samman Nidhi to such people, which was closed for the last 5 years, which our government has started again. Also, by bringing a bill in the Assembly, it has been ensured that the beneficiaries continue to get this honorarium.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that the theme of today’s lecture – “Time is now to decorate Ayodhya of the mind” – is very relevant. Chhattisgarh is the land of Mata Kaushalya and Lord Shri Ram is called Bhanja here. “Ram Rajya means service to the people. Our government is working for all sections of the society. Our policy is zero tolerance towards corruption. We are moving towards realizing the vision of Ram Rajya in line with the ideals of Shri Ram.
