CM Vishnu Dev : Chitrotpala Film City will be built in Chhattisgarh at a cost of Rs 147 crore. For this, the Government of India has approved Rs 147 crore.Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai gave this information in his address in Chhattisgarhi language at a program organized on the occasion of Chhattisgarhi Official Language Day today.He said that on the proposal of the State Government, the amount has been approved by the Central Government while approving the construction of the Film City. He said that the construction of Chitrotpala Film City will not only encourage Chhattisgarhi films and Chhattisgarhi plays but will also promote tourism.

In the program,CM Vishnu Dev Sai  announced to increase the honorarium given to the eminent personalities of Chhattisgarh awarded with Padmashree award from Rs 5 thousand to Rs 10 thousand per month.

The CM Vishnu Dev said that the state government is continuously working for the development of Chhattisgarhi language. Chhattisgarhi is a powerful language, which connects us with our hearts. He said that Chhattisgarhi films are very popular. Chhattisgarhi films also have a big contribution in promoting Chhattisgarhi language.

Announcing the completion of the merger of Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission with Sahitya Parishad, the CM Vishnu Dev  said that Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission will continue to work to promote the official language Chhattisgarhi.It is noteworthy that earlier Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission was merged with Sahitya Parishad.

In the programme, the CM Vishnu Dev  honored six litterateurs who enriched the Chhattisgarhi language by presenting them shawls, quinces and mementos. He also released 12 books written in Chhattisgarhi language published by Chhattisgarh Official Language Commission.

Presiding over the program, MP Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal said that to popularize Chhattisgarhi language and give respect to the official language, it is necessary that we communicate in Chhattisgarhi language and also teach the new generation to speak Chhattisgarhi.He called upon the litterateurs to write novels, poetry and history in Chhattisgarhi language. He said that members in the Assembly can give their address in Chhattisgarhi.He also said that as an MP, he would try to include Chhattisgarhi in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.

Padshri Dr. Surendra Dubey and Dr. Ramendranath Mishra were present as special guests in the program. In the program, Secretary of Culture Department Mr. Anbalagan P., Director Culture and Official Language Mr. Vivek Acharya addressed in Chhattisgarhi official language.Dr. Abhilasha Behar, Secretary of the Official Language Commission, said that the Commission has provided training to more than 2700 officers and employees in Chhattisgarhi. So far, 1400 books in Chhattisgarhi language have been published by the Commission.
