CM VISHNU dev Sai today participated in the Prakash Parv organized on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti at Khalsa School premises in the capital Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Sai bowed his head in the Kirtan Darbar and wished for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of all the people of Chhattisgarh.
Congratulating everyone on Prakash Parv, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that today on this holy day, I feel very happy to be among my brothers and sisters of the Sikh community.The life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji is not only inspiring for the Sikh community but his life is also inspiring for all Indians. Social unity has been emphasized in the words of Guru Nanak Ji. He emphasized on building an egalitarian society. Sikh community has a huge contribution in the independence of the country.The history of Sikh society is very glorious and rich. Dedication to religion and the spirit of service is an integral identity of the Sikh society.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that when we see the life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, we come to know that his sons Sahebzade Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji came under pressure to change their religion. He accepted martyrdom but did not change his religion. Such has been the history of the Sikh community.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji decided to celebrate the martyrdom day of Sahebzads on 26th December as Veer Bal Diwas and every year we celebrate this day with pride.
On this occasion, a large number of people of Sikh community including MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Sanjay Srivastava, Shri Bhupendra Savanni, Shri Manmohan Chawla and officials of Gurudwara Committee were present.
