Addressing the programme, the Chief Minister said that youth power is the nation power. Our country has the largest youth population in the world. The role of youth in making India a developed nation by 2047 will be very important.
“Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is the largest student organisation in the world. It is a matter of great happiness that this three-day national council meeting is being held on the soil of Chhattisgarh. Without education, life is worthless. Education is the key to development. Today, all the top institutions of education are established in Chhattisgarh. Today, the youth of our state are studying in national institutes like IIT, AIIMS, Triple IT, National Law University. New education policy is being implemented in the country. Under the new education policy, we are also connecting the youth with employment. In Chhattisgarh, an organisation like Prayas is working to provide education to school children. A large number of students are getting success in competitive exams.
CM Vishnudev Sai said that a Tribal Youth Hostel has been set up in New Delhi for such youth who want to prepare for Civil Services etc. We have increased the capacity of this tribal youth hostel to 200 seats. Across the state, we are building Nalanda campus where children can study in a peaceful environment. We have taken an initiative here that medical students can also study in Hindi language. Primary level children in the state are being given education in their mother tongue Gondi, Halbi etc.
CM Vishnudev Sai said that the new industrial policy of Chhattisgarh is being appreciated all over the country. Under the new industrial policy, we are not only bringing investment in the state but also providing employment to a large number of youth. The work of semiconductor chip manufacturing and AI data centre has started in Chhattisgarh. This will create employment opportunities for the youth in these areas. Our government has handed over the investigation of corruption in PSC to CBI. It is our top priority not to play with the future of the youth.
CM Vishnudev Sai said that during Good Governance Tihar, we are taking feedback from the public about the work done by the government in one and a half years. The third phase of Good Governance Tihar is currently underway, under which we are touring the entire state. The applications received in the first phase were disposed of by our officers in the second phase. Now in the third phase we are going to the public. In one-and-a-half years, we have fulfilled most of Prime Minister Modi’s guarantees. We have fulfilled the promise of providing Prime Minister’s residence to the people. 70 lakh mothers and sisters are getting the amount of Maharatri Vandana. Good Governance During Tihar, a woman in Narayanpur told me with great joy that she had bought a sewing machine with the amount of Mahtari Vandana. Through which she is earning 4 to 5 thousand rupees. Similarly, a sister said that she is running a grocery shop with this amount and earning an income of two to three thousand rupees. Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country where the Department of Good Governance and Convergence has been started. The government is doing everything in a transparent manner. We are now moving towards digitisation. The files are now online through e-file. We are closing all avenues of corruption.
