The faith of the people of the state has been strengthened by the hope raised by CM Vishnudev Deo Sai for good governance. With this belief and hope, a large number of people became a part of the good governance movement. Their faith became stronger when their problems were resolved quickly. Under this campaign, a sensitive initiative was seen in Bilaspur district. Shri Mangal Singh Baiga, a resident of Gram Panchayat Karka, got a tricycle within 24 hours of applying. They have also come in the eligibility list of Divyang pension and soon they will also start getting pension. In view of good governance Tihar, under the guidance of Collector Mr. Avnish Sharan, his application was taken seriously and he was given a tricycle.
During Good Governance Tihar, Shri Mangal Singh Baiga had applied for tricycle and pension on 10th April. They were informed about the supply of tricycles by the Social Welfare Department on 11th April itself. But he took a tricycle on April 15. He was not eligible for pension as he did not have a disability certificate. His disability certificate has been made by the Social Welfare Department. They have now come in the eligibility list of pension. They will also get their pensions soon. Pleased with the prompt action, Shri Mangal Singh Baiga thanked the CM Vishnudev Sai. “This sensitive initiative of the government has been a great support to me and my family. Now I don’t have to depend on others to get me anywhere. I never thought that my problem would be solved so soon.
Under the leadership of CM Vishnudev Sai, work is being done in urban and rural areas of Chhattisgarh with awareness and promptness to solve the problems related to public service. The objective of Good Governance Tihar is to take governance to the common man, where quick, transparent and effective solutions are being ensured to small and big problems of the people.
