CM Yadav said that unveiling the grand 21-foot statue of Bharat Ratna Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee is a moment of great fortune.
CM Yadav remarked, “Today, on the sacred land of Ambah, a golden chapter has begun with the inauguration by Atal Smriti Sangh”, while addressing the statue unveiling ceremony in Ambah, Morena district, on Sunday. The statue, built at a cost of Rs. 31 lakh, has been installed at Jayashwar Mahadev Park.
CM Dr. Yadav informed that a gym worth Rs. 25 lakh and lighting and platform works worth Rs. 40 lakh have also been developed at the site. The statue stands on government land valued at about Rs. 200 crore. He said that under Atal Ji’s leadership, a vast road network was laid across villages. From 1956 to 2003, Madhya Pradesh had only five medical colleges, but in just the last one-and-a-half years, five new medical colleges have been established.
CM Yadav added that Sandipani schools are being established at block levels to strengthen education, while new ITIs are also being opened so that local students can secure employment within their districts. In this sequence, Bhoomi-Pujan has been performed for an industrial unit at Piparsewa village with an investment of Rs. 500 crore.
CM Dr. Yadav said that the irrigated area in the state has now increased to 44 lakh hectares, with 7.5 lakh hectares added in the last 15 months. The government is committed to expanding irrigation coverage to 100 lakh hectares by 2028. He assured that Morena, too, will soon be seen in a new, progressive form.
Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that the state government is fully committed to education, healthcare and employment. The aim is to ensure that youth find jobs within their own region after completing their studies. He described the inauguration of the Sandipani School at Rajoudha, Bhoomi-Pujan for a college and industrial development at Piparsewa as historic initiatives. Speaker Shri Tomar further informed that Sandipani schools in Ambah and Goth will also be completed soon.
Development Works and Announcements
The Chief Minister announced development works worth Rs. 96 lakh for Ambah. These included the establishment of a fire brigade at a cost of Rs. 1.30 crore, expediting the Rs. 33 crore drain project being executed by the Central Government, and preparing a structured action plan under SBM to prevent polluted water from flowing into rivers. He also announced the construction of roads including a Rs. 143 crore— 30.20 km road along the Dimni canal route, a Rs. 52 crore—15.50 km road from Badagaon to Sihoniya (benefiting 20 villages) and a 30 km road along NH-52 canal route from Paya Ka Pura to Kirrayach. CM Dr. Yadav announced a new ITI in Dimni, along with road construction from Jingni-Surjanpur canal to Manpur crossing and from Mirghan to Barahet under CRF funds.
On the occasion, New and Renewable Energy Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla, MP Shri Shivmangal Singh Tomar, Mayor Smt. Sharda Solanki, Sabalgarh MLA Smt. Sarla Rawat, Ambah MLA Shri Devendra Sakhwar, former minister Shri Munshilal, former MLA Shri Subedar Singh Rajoudha, Janpad President Ms. Madhurima Tomar, Municipality Chairperson Smt. Anjali Jinesh Jain, social worker Shri Kamlesh Kushwah and a large number of citizens were present.
