CM Yogi Adityanath : The budget for the financial year 2025-26 will be presented on 20 February.
CM Yogi Adityanath : Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Satish Mahana appealed to all political parties to cooperate for the smooth conduct of the Vidhan Sabha session. Speaking at an all-party meeting held at Vidhan Bhavan, he said the cooperation of all is necessary for the proper functioning of the House. He also said that public problems can be resolved through logical and factual dialogue in a positive atmosphere. There should be a discussion on the positive perspective of Uttar Pradesh in the House. With this, now the members of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly will be able to speak in Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Bundeli and Braj dialects, and the discussion will be translated into these languages and English.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the session will begin with the address of Governor Smt Anandiben Patel on 18th February 2025, and the budget for the financial year 2025-26 will be presented on 20th February. He assured the full support of the treasury benches for the smooth conduct of the session and said that a serious discussion in the House increases the confidence of the general public towards democracy.
The Chief Minister pointed out that the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly has taken several important steps towards improving parliamentary functioning over the years. Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in the country to introduce e-legislation. Apart from this, works like beautification of the gallery of the Vidhan Sabha building, renovation of the hall and installation of murals have been done.
The Chief Minister said that the image of Uttar Pradesh has now changed, and people from the country and abroad are appreciating the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. More than 53 crore devotees have come to the Mahakumbh, and this is increasing the GDP of the state. The organization of Mahakumbh has also given a new direction to the tourism sector of the state.
Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath unveiled the entrance gate and mural of Vidhan Bhawan and inspected the rehearsal of translation of Assembly proceedings into Awadhi, Braj, Bhojpuri and Bundeli dialects.
The Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Shri Suresh Kumar Khanna also said that the cooperation of both the parties and the Opposition is essential for the successful conduct of the proceedings of the House. All parties assured to cooperate in the proceedings of the House.
