CM Yogi Adityanath today interacted with 7 trainee officers of PCS-2022 batch and 38 of 2023 batch at his official residence. He described the trainees as a privilege and a challenging responsibility to serve in a large and diverse state like Uttar Pradesh.
The Chief Minister advised the officers to imbibe “Samvad,” “Sensitivity” and “Positivity” in their working style for a successful administrative career. He said that the initial 5-6 years decide the behaviour and attitude of the officers, which become the guiding light for the decades ahead.
He appealed to the trainees to increase public connect, take decisions impartially and be sensitive towards the poor and weaker sections. Pointing out that the delay in matters like land disputes, measurement and fencing was the cause of dissatisfaction among the people, the Chief Minister asked them to pay special attention to these issues. He said that administration should become a medium to deliver justice and not a reason for delay.
The Chief Minister urged the officers to keep public interest paramount, maintain honesty and transparency in decisions. He said that the biggest capital in governance is the trust of the public, which not only brings improvement in the system, but also increases efficiency.
He described the energy, innovative thinking and dedication of the trainees as giving a new direction to the administrative system of the state. He wished all the officers a bright future and expressed confidence that their contribution will positively impact the policies of Uttar Pradesh and the lives of the general public.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Ramvir, SDM Sangrur Yashpal Sharma, Assistant Commissioner (UT) Devdarshdeep Singh, EO Ramesh Kumar, all local Congress leaders, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
