Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone for the construction of 23 mini stadiums in government inter colleges and handed over appointment letters to 494 assistant teachers and 49 spokespersons selected in the secondary education department. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Uttar Pradesh has now established itself as the “New Uttar Pradesh of New India” and the youth of the state now feel proud of their identity.
The Chief Minister pointed out that there have been massive reforms in sectors like education, health, employment, infrastructure and investment. Through a fair and transparent recruitment process, the State has provided employment to more than 8 lakh youth so far. More than 40,000 teachers have been appointed in the Secondary Education Department alone. He informed that the quality of schools has been improved through Operation Kayakalp and ICT schemes, which has also been appreciated by NITI Aayog.
The Chief Minister said that the improvement in the examination system by conducting examinations in 14 days and releasing results in 15 days is an example of technological development. Under Project Alankar, schools are being equipped with better buildings, furniture, labs and smart classes.
He urged the newly selected teachers to bring innovation in education in line with the National Education Policy and teach children in an inspiring manner. In conclusion, he said that New India is peace-loving but if any country attacks its sovereignty, it is capable of giving a befitting reply.
