Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath  attended the Chhath Mahaparv at Laxman Mela Ground here today. He worshipped the setting sun.

He released the Bhojpuriya Sanesh Souvenir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.

Starting his speech in Bhojpuri on the occasion of Chhath Mahaparv, the Chief Minister said, “I am feeling very happy on Chhath Puja. Many congratulations and best wishes to all of you on the great festival of folk faith ‘Chhath’. May the blessings of Maa Chhathi be upon you all. Everyone’s life was happy. You will be full of enthusiasm and joy in your life. Our special wishes to our mother and sister Logan, who is fasting hard for the family.

There are thousands of languages spoken all over the world, but India’s culture is unique. At the same time, Bhojpuri language and culture have made their mark in the world due to different sweetness and fragrance. And your own history.
The Chief Minister said that this festival is a symbol of public faith as well as national unity, integrity and integrity. It is a matter of happiness that this is the 40th year of the Chhath Mahaparva organized by the All India Bhojpuri Samaj. The event has been held continuously at the Laxman Mela Ground since 1984. It has become a festival of Bhojpuri society as well as the entire Indian society. The Bhojpuri society is working to take forward the concept of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ by carrying the fragrance of the festival with them from Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh to wherever they go in the country and the world.

The Chief Minister said that the spirit behind organizing festivals and celebrations is that all of us together can end discrimination and establish a harmonious society and feel proud of our heritage. Let us all participate in the events together. We can work together to establish a harmonious society free from any kind of bondage, including caste, region and language.

Festivals and celebrations are held here. The celebration of Chhath has also made a place in the minds of people with this devotional spirit across the country. As a result of the work started by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the country by linking heritage with development, we are witnessing a new India today.
The Chief Minister said that people in the country and the world, including Chennai, Hyderabad or Bengaluru, have given a new height to the celebration of Chhath. It is a perfect example of the importance in the world of Bhojpuri society and keeping the folk faith alive through feasts and festivals. Chhath Puja is an important part of it. We organize this event for the grace of Chhathi Maiya. This is a festival of folk faith, which is associated with sun worship. Sun is the deity of this earth. Nothing in this universe can come to life without the grace of the Sun God. By the grace of Surya Dev, there is movement and life everywhere. Worship of Surya Dev is also an expression of gratitude to him.

The Chief Minister said that today the mothers are giving more height to this fast by offering Arghya to the Astanchal Sun. Tomorrow, this fast will be completed by offering Arghya with the sunrise. It’s a very difficult fast. By joining such a difficult vrat, the importance of both vrat and vrat increases. The resolutions that our mothers and sisters are taking today, the Bhojpuri society is strengthening it by joining it.
This should be our resolve towards our nation as well.

The Chief Minister said that festivals and celebrations are alive only as long as our Rashtra Dharma is alive. We should organise and associate with festivals and festivals, but also integrate these festivals and festivals with a national religion. National religion in which every work of every person is in the name of the country. It is the resolution of the Prime Minister’s life that every work is in the name of the country. We are working to connect the society through our festivals and celebrations.

“When 140 crore Indians speak in one voice, the whole world listens to them. No country in the world can look India in the eye. When we are divided on the basis of caste, creed, religion, etc., the world also looks at us. When we divide among ourselves, its consequences will also come in front of us. On August 5, 2019, inspired by the Prime Minister, Home Minister Shri Amit Shah announced the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution relating to Kashmir. Through this, the final nail was laid on the coffin of terrorism. The world has seen India’s strength. The world had seen that this was the new India.

New India will not harm anyone, but if someone touches it, he will not leave it. It will not bend, it will not fall, it will not move, but it will be ready to sacrifice everything to protect the nation. It will not hesitate to take whatever steps are necessary to maintain the unity and integrity of India. Today Kashmir is once again moving towards becoming the paradise of India. There is a lot of infrastructure work going on. Institutions like tunnel, IIT, IIM, AIIMS are being built in Kashmir.
The Prime Minister has assured security to Kashmir. Article 370 from Kashmir was abrogated. Today Kashmir is moving ahead by joining the mainstream of development.

The Chief Minister said that 140 crore Indians are in favour of the unity and integrity of the country in every situation and want to strengthen it. Every Indian is ready to give a befitting reply to anyone who messes with it. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma, UP BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh, UP BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh, BJP’s UP in-charge Radha Mohan Singh, national general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal and state general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal were also present.
