CM Yogi Adityanath presented his views in the Legislative Assembly under the motion of thanks on the address given by the Governor in the joint house.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said that the state government has provided world-class facilities to the devotees in Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025. The total population of India is 144 crore, out of which 110 crore people follow Sanatan Dharma. More than 63 crore devotees have joined the event so far, and the number is likely to touch 65 crore after Mahashivratri (February 26).
CM Yogi Adityanath was supporting the motion of thanks on Governor Anandiben Patel’s address in the Legislative Assembly. A total of 146 members of the ruling and opposition parties participated in the discussion, including 98 from the ruling and 48 from the opposition, he said.

CM Yogi Adityanath said that a large number of people from the country and abroad are coming to Prayagraj Mahakumbh, which was also attended by the President, Prime Minister, Vice President, King of Bhutan and mission heads of 74 countries. The event has been recognised globally. For the first time, people from North, South, East and West came here and everyone made it a success by being a part of this grand event. The entry to Mahakumbh is open for all devotees, but if any person comes with the intention of creating disorder, he will not be allowed.

CM Yogi Adityanath said that an event like Mahakumbh does not take place anywhere else in the world, where such a large number of devotees gather on one platform. Last year, a grand Pran Pratishtha was held at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, and this year Mahakumbh has been organized. Along with this, devotees have got the opportunity to see Ayodhya and Kashi from close quarters. He said that these events are realizing the vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat “and are also important from the spiritual tradition and economic point of view of India.

The Mahakumbh has strengthened national unity by eradicating the discrimination of caste, region, creed, religion and economic classes. All the devotees are taking bath at the same ghat together, which shows the true spirit of Sanatan Dharma.
Yogi Adityanath said that according to the comment of a great man, everyone in the Mahakumbh got what he had discovered – the beauty of relationships to sensitive people, virtue to believers, gentlemanliness to gentlemen, employment to the poor, business to the rich and clean arrangements to the devotees. The event is a celebration of India’s unity and the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.

CM Yogi Adityanath further said that there should be a sense of respect for all the great men born in India. The State Government is committed to the beautification and rejuvenation of Buddhist pilgrimage sites. December 26 has been declared as’ Veer Bal Diwas’ to honour the martyrdom of four Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh ji. For the first time, the recitation of Guru Vani is being continuously done at the Chief Minister’s residence. In addition, all worship practices including Kabirpanth, Sant Ravidas tradition and Maharishi Valmiki tradition are respected, so that Sanatan Dharma is strengthened and India moves forward unitedly.
Referring to the thoughts of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, CM Yogi Adityanath said that being a human is an achievement, becoming a demon is a defeat and becoming a superhuman is a victory. The person who rises above selfishness and works with the spirit of charity is called a great man.
