Stressing on the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, CM Yogi Adityanath said that Mahakumbh Prayagraj-2025 is an excellent example of this. The 45-day long event left an imprint of India’s cultural heritage and development on the entire world. There was no discrimination of any kind, and devotees from over 100 countries attended.

During the budget session in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, CM Yogi Adityanath said that the state government is continuously giving priority to public welfare and working towards creating a $1 trillion economy. He said that there were excellent arrangements for security and management during the Mahakumbh, due to which more than 66 crore devotees returned safely without any disturbance.

Discussing the economic impact of the Mahakumbh, the Chief Minister said it generated business of about Rs 3 lakh crore, which will benefit the economy of Uttar Pradesh in a big way. It had a positive impact on hotels, transport, puja material and other sectors. He also mentioned the faith corridors developed during the Mahakumbh and the economic benefits it brought to local businesses.
In the end, CM Yogi Adityanath lauded the contribution of boatmen, cleaners, health workers, administrative officials and security forces who played a key role in making the event a success.
